Serra’s work is prophetic. Each painting begins in prayer and listening — for what God wants to say — and is woven with scripture and prophecy to carry power.
In a commission, Serra listens alongside you for the word over your season, and paints a piece to speak into your life and call forth breakthrough and growth.

Serra Sano is an American painter, entrepreneur, and prophetic voice who paints what she hears.
Classically trained in fine art in Rome, Serra holds degree in architecture — a builder by education — she works across watercolor, gouache, oil, acrylic, woodwork, and block print, alongside film, photography, and design.
Her paintings are mostly impressionist landscapes — light-filled and alive.
But every piece begins the same way: in prayer. She listens for what God wants to say, then lets scripture and prophecy shape the work until it carries a word. She’s also the voice behind the Build It Anyways channel and a leader in the Ask Her community — but it all comes back to one conviction: we’re called to build in a dying world, and be joyful in the midst of it.
