What is Prophetic Art?

Prophetic art is the process of creating a portal.

Ideally, a portal to the best dimension, and not the worst one.

If I’ve lost you, hang with me for just a second.

I have a lot of spiritual experiences.

Visions, dreams, and sightings are apart of my daily life. I’ve seen pillars of fire, heard stars that sing, and walked paths of light.

It’s hard to know what to do with these experiences. They leave me perplexed and in awe, often speechless for years. Not because I don’t want to explain them, but because I don’t know how.

Instead, I show people.

Prophetic Art is an Established and Ancient Practice.

In the literal sense, when objects are crafted by the intention and spirit of an artist, they become vessels that carry power to change an atmosphere. Imagine the canvas as an open hole in space time, with a different dimension on the other side.

I don’t say that because its a cute metaphor. I mean I literally see open portals on other people’s art. And I don’t usually like where those portals go, or what comes out of them.

This is nothing new, the handcrafted idols of the ancients carry the same concept.

The witches of Africa, the monks of China, the sages of the old west, the abbots of Italy. These mystics all understand the same thing: objects can carry power, and become open doors to other places.

And we, as the crafters of the thing, get to decide what kinds of power they carry, depending on what we are doing and how we are praying when making the object.

The art I craft is made in prayer with YHWH.

He partners with me, and fills the canvas with his presence and power.

There are many dimensions. Many gods. Many Stars, many Kings and many Powers.

You may have met a few. They scream for our attention, promise what they cannot deliver, and scratch for our worship.

YHWH is the one dimension I am interested in.

I’m not interested in speaking to an inferior source.

I’m tapping into the Star Breather. The Ancient of Days.

Because the one who made me, is the only one who tells me what I am.

In the New Testament, prophecy is the act of speaking a new reality into the world.

It calls forth the potential, the beautiful, and the depth of a human soul.

A prophet is a spirit leader who sees into you, and knows your best self.

Paul the apostle taught that a prophet’s job is to teach, comfort, and uplift.

And that is what my art does, it brings the atmosphere of comfort and strength.

“I am the fiery life of the essence of God; I am the flame above the beauty in the fields; I shine in the waters; I burn in the sun, the moon, and the stars. And with the airy wind, I quicken all things vitally by an unseen, all-sustaining life.”
